Richard Blake

Richard Blake is a Retirement Income Specialist at Emeritus Financial Strategies and joined our firm in March 2015. He worked in the retail banking sector for 22 years before making a career change to become a Certified Financial Planner in 1999. Richard specializes in working with small business owners for estate preservation, wealth transfer, tax planning and risk management, by ensuring that owners understand, and take advantage of, the opportunities available to them. He also specializes in clients in the retirement segment, ensuring tax effective income streams to ensure cash needs are met, paying a particular focus on eliminating the claw back of government benefits for clients.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Queens University, where he was a member of the Golden Gales Football Team. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Charted Life Underwriter (CLU), Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) and a Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Richard makes his home in Mississauga, Ontario where he works extensively with the Rotary Club of Mississauga.
